Gerade auf der Karte
Events, not headlines
Each item here is a located event: coordinates, the parties involved, how many news reports mentioned it, and a link to source reporting. That is different from a news feed, where a story about a strike and a story about its aftermath are two separate headlines with no position on a map.
An honest note on conflict data
Conflict events are derived from news coverage, which means the volume of reporting influences what surfaces — a well-covered incident appears faster than an under-reported one. The sector standard for conflict data, ACLED, requires a licence for commercial use, so it is deliberately not used here rather than used without one.
What this page is not
It is not a casualty count, a battle map, or an intelligence assessment. It is a list of located events as reported, with the reporting linked. For verified casualty and displacement figures, consult ACLED, UCDP or UN OCHA directly.

Where does the conflict data come from?
The GDELT Project's raw event export, read every 15 minutes. It extracts located events from global news coverage with coordinates, CAMEO event codes and actor pairs.
Does this show casualty figures?
No. Casualty data requires verification work that WorldPulse does not do. For that, consult ACLED, UCDP or UN OCHA.
How current is this list?
Events are read every 15 minutes and this page shows the last 24 hours. Each event carries its own timestamp.
